Compositing/rotoscoping

This is the final project for my Production Compositing Principles class.

Here's the resources I used in the final project.

I modeled and textured the huts and the bridge using Maya

I use Photoshop to get rid of the sunlights from the trees I used the clone to get rid fo the branches. I masked to create individual trees in After Effects.I used stablize motion in AE to have smooth steady shot. I had rotoscoped the middle bird. I used the same middle bird for the mutliple birds in the scene.

I used the sunset for the top part of the background scene. It is a beautiful shot. Unfortunately the surfers were in the way so I had to mask the ocean.

I used the island and the ocean for the bottom half of the background scen

I use this young girl as the fairy for my green screen shot.

I made the wings in Maya and manually matchmoved the wing to follow the girl in Maya.

The fire FX and the torches were created in Maya.

I'm in the imdb as Anne Marie Geyer when I was working on Crab Cove five years ago.

Welcome

It's still a work in progress. I have so many works to share. I've posted the old works I've done over the years to get my personal portfolio blog started.

Right now........

I'm currently going over the tutorials for After Effects, PFTraker and Boujou. So much to learn, so little time.

At the same time, I'm working on improving my digital drawing and painting skills using my PC tablet. It's frustrating to get used to the changes from pencil drawing on paper to digital drawing on the PC tablet.

Anyway it's my latest digital drawing of African Crowned Crane.
